Greenwich

Birthplace to Elizabeth I and Henry VIII Greenwich is probably most famous for Greenwich Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time.

Untill recently it housed one of the finest Pie and Mash shops in London, but that now sadly is a Hamburger restaurant. Pie, Mash and Liquor (parsley Sauce) is the traditional Cockney food that you smother in Non-Brewed Condiment (like vinegar). You must try it on a visit to London and I can recommend Manzes in Tower Bridge Road.

The Cutty Sark proudly sits here but is currently undergoing restoration after a devastating fire and the market is worth a mooch.

You can hop on a River Bus here up to the Tower and Westminster amongst other places.
